22 LR CAL; 70% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, The left of the barrel and receiver are marked with the serial number and German proof marks. The left of the barrel is also marked “KAL. 22 LANG FUR BUCHSEN”, the left of the receiver “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N.”. The top of the chamber ring has a Mauser banner logo, the right of the receiver is marked “Deutsches Sportmodell”. The bolt handle has German proofs and the last four digits of the serial number. The front sight is a blade dovetailed into the top of a checkered, ramped, banded base on the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a “V” notched sliding elevator sight. The top of the elevator is marked in 25-yard increments from “25” to “200”. There is no provision for mounting an optic or peep-sight. The stocks are two-piece walnut with smooth handguard, two barrel bands with a sling loop on the left of the rear band, semi-pistol grip, straight comb, sling pass-through with hook on the right, a bolt disassembly ring mounted behind the sling pass-through and steel buttplate. The stocks have some scattered light nicks, dings, and scratches. The LOP measures 12 7/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall, the stocks are in Very Good condition. The stock is duffle cut. This rifle retains about 70% of its metal finish. The finish is thinning at all edges. There is scattered light finish wear in the exposed portions of the barrel and receiver.
