30 Luger; 92% blue, 90% straw, good bore, very good grips, 6 7/8'' barrel, Very rare and desireable Chilean contact DWM 1900 model with matching number push button catch shoulder stock is from the Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess collection. Gun number 10044, falling at the very end of a known range for fixed rear sight production pistols. 175mm 7.65mm (.30 Luger) caliber barrel with full serial number. Commercial crown/"BUG" proofs located on the bottom of the barrel, crown/B and U proofs on the left side of the receiver, center toggle and breechbolt. DWM Monogram on center toggle link. Dished toggles with toggle latch. Narrow grip safety. Wide trigger guard. Checkered 2nd type safety. All numbered parts are matching including the checkered walnut grips. Proper unmarked wood bottom magazine. Original walnut push-button stock with last two digits "44" numbering across top of the iron and on the wood inside the strap loops cutout. This pistol is featured on pages 240, 251 and 252 of the book "The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Condition: Excellent as restored long ago. 92% blue and straw. Worn and thinning finish on rear grip frame strap around the stock lug. Grips are lightly worn with a very minor ding or two and area of compression on the right panel. Magazine has light corrosion on the body and minor chips on the wood bottom edges. Stock shows normal wear for its age with some minor dings and lug that has been restored to 95% blue and straw. The barrels bore has some corrosion along the grooves., s/n 100xx, Catalog Number D-283
