41 RF; poor bore, fair grips, 3'' barrel, Type III (Model 4) variation manufactured 1912 and after. Metal finish worn to mostly gray. Original checkered hard rubber grips show wear. Stamped on top of the barrel "REMINGTON ARMS - U.M.C. CO. ILION, N.Y.". The action works fine. The barrel is a bit loose at the hinge, no damage or repair evident to the hinge. The bores are rough.
