Product DescriptionThis item was designed and made in the U.S. during WW2 and was intended for use by French resistance and partisan forces. The device was attached to the trigger guard on an MP38 or 40 SMG which was secured and hidden, behind a closed door is the example on the instruction sheet, and when the door was opened the gun would begin firing. This assembly comes complete in opened protective packaging and includes the mentioned instructions with envelope which is marked in both English and French "DIRECTIVES / INSTRUCTIONS". The instruction sheet is printed in both English and French as well, and is also marked 'DESTROY THESE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER THEY HAVE SERVED THEIR PURPOSE", and are dated 15 May 1944.
