Product Description
9mm; good bore, very good grips, very good stock, 4.7'' barrel, EXTREMELY RARE INGLIS MKI* WITH STOCK BEARING A "DP" PREFIX SERIAL NUMBER. NOTED ON PAGES 110/111 IN THE INGLIS DIAMOND BOOK BY CLIVE M LAW, THE DP PREFIX WOULD DENOTE DRILL PURPOSE. HOWEVER THE "DP MARKING WOULD BE APPLIED BY A UNIT ARMOURER OR BASE SHOP NOT THE MANUFACTURER. THE PARKERIZED FINISH SHOWS LIGHT HIGH EGDE WEAR. THE BORE SHOWS SOMEWHAT WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING WITH LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE GRIPS ARE VERY GOOD SHOWING LIGHT HANDLING MARKS. THE DETACHABLE STOCK IS MARKED " S.A.LTD 1945", AND SHOWS LIGHT HANDLING MARKS., s/n DP1xx
